Save Money on Trash Pickup

I've been thinking about this too... but have not quite brought myself to doing this.

Trash Pickup.

We have to pay extra for our trash pickup. We are not fortunate enough that the city provides trash pickup in our town. We have to hire a company that will do it for us weekly. We have found a company that charges us $45 for every three months and it is picked up once a week.

There is a county dump just about five miles up the road. If I would take a couple of bags every couple of days, it would save us even more money.

Since we do not have a pick up to throw the trash in, I have opted to not do this.
