Save Money on Artificial Nails

Several years ago when I was a single mother trying to raise three children, I quit going to the nail salon to cut back on expenses. It has saved me a tremendous amount of money over the last ten years. I do like to have nice looking nails though. I started purchasing the artificial glue on nails at Walmart, Walgreens or CVS or KMart. I usually buy them for $2.99 a package to around $8.00 a package. I have found some at Walgreens that are already painted and cost me $2.99 pack. At this price, I do not get the nail glue in the package. I usually purchase two bottles of nail glue in a pack for $1.99 and it lasts me a while. I have been wearing the nails that are painted in a burgundy color. I used to wear the ones that were a french manicure look. I have had so many compliments on them over the years. They are completely amazed when I tell them they are glue ons and not done at the salon. So, if you're looking at a way to have nice looking nails and not spend all the money on them, try the glue on nails.

I have tried the clear plastic nails and I did not like those. I have never had very good luck at getting them to stick. Also, the nails that come with the stickers and you stick them on instead of using nail glue. I can't get them to stay. A box will usually last me a couple of times of doing my nails. If I wash a lot of dishes, I have to do them more often for they will loosen and fall off. If one pops off, carry your nail glue with you in your purse and glue it back on. You just have to play around with the brands and the sizes and lengths and see what works and looks best for you.
