Shirt Collar Stain Removal

Try the following techniques to get the stains out and in the future, throw the shirts in the dryer with the rest of the load for just a few minutes to remove excess water, then line dry or dry flat:

Stain Removal Methods:

Vinegar method: Pour our old friend white vinegar directly on the stain. Then, rub with a paste made of vinegar and baking soda. If the stain is still there, add a couple tablespoons each of vinegar and laundry detergent to a bucket of hot water, and soak over night. Once stain is (hopefully) gone, launder as usual.

Oxyclean method- Put a few scoops of Oxyclean (a miracle worker in my book) in a bucket with hot water - soak the shirts for a few hours and check on the stain. If still there - put back in the bucket to soak some more. Once stain is (hopefully) gone, launder as usual.

Lemon juice - Squeeze a good amount of fresh lemon juice on the stains and put out in the sun to dry. Launder as usual.
