Homeade Doggie Treats
Homeade Dog Treats
These dog treats are very easy to make and can be very useful in clicker training.
26 ounces of canned meat (Salmon, Jack Mackerel, or Tuna)
OR
a fatty meat that has been crockpotted 'til it is falling apart (Lamb or Beef)
OR
raw Liver (either chicken or beef is fine)
3 - 4 eggs
2 cloves garlic or some garlic powder
2 cups flour
BLEND everything together ( use the blender, not just a mixer). It has to be a doughy consistency without chunks of meat.
Spread in a greased pan about 1" thick. Bake at 350 about 20 minutes or until treats have a brownie consistency. Cut into tiny pieces for training treats or into 2 x2" squares for a "dog cookie" type treat.
These treats are much cheaper than store bought treats without all the nasty stuff.
