Keep Your Tires Properly Inflated

Make sure your tires are properly inflated. Tires that are underinflated reduce the fuel efficiency of the vehicle. In a time when gas prices aren’t cheap, keeping your tires properly inflated can save you big bucks over the long run. You should keep an air pressure gauge in your car at all times and check the tire pressure every couple of months. Air pressure gauges only cost a few dollars and are worth the investment.

In addition to fuel efficiency, keeping tires properly inflated helps you extend the life of your tires (tires that are underinflated can cause problems with the sidewalls as they push out further when underinflated and can eventually blow out as a result).
